Dear Blinded Eye
The eye that refuses to see what is there. The eye that profoundly makes its own conclusion of what is there. To the eye that sees nothing but just blackness, to the eye that refuses to transmit messages back to the brain. To the eye that confuses the heart. To the eye that sees it’s own reality and forgets what was and what is. To the eye that refuses the reality presented to it. To the eye that don’t see the signs of what is to be.
Dear blinded eye. As the light shines through the vitreous humour, right through the retina to receive the image which lies before you, as the cornea focuses through the eye’s internal lens and transforms this image into electrical impulses that are carried by the optic nerve to the brain. You refuse to see the right image as mixed signals are sent to the brain, which confuses the the heart.
Yes the eye is the key to the heart.
Dear blinded eye, the eye that doesn’t wanna accept reality. The eye that is scared to admit. The eye that is so inclined to the past that it refuses to shift focus to the present moment.
Dear blinded, look through the mist in front of you in order to see the beauty that is. The beauty that was and the beauty that still to be. Allow the heart to feel and accept what is there.
Dear blinded eye, hope oneday you see the truth and what has to be.
From the lovely subject in front of you.
